Join NLM staff for a highlight tour summarizing the changes for 2023 Medical Subject Headings (MeSH).

Every year, updates are made to MeSH, the NLM controlled vocabulary thesaurus used for indexing articles for PubMed and for cataloging books and other resources. The presentation will feature examples of new and updated terminology. For more information about MeSH, see the MeSH homepage.

Following the presentation, a panel of NLM Indexing and MeSH experts will be available to answer your questions.

  1. List some new or updated MeSH terms, such as terms related to COVID-19.

  2. Describe any structural changes to MeSH for 2023.

  3. Find detailed information about MeSH and PubMed and other helpful resources on the NLM web site.
