Locating Latino and Hispanic American’s Consumer Health Information in the Metaverse
This proposal aims to enhance health information equity for Latinos/Hispanics in the metaverse, specifically through applications from the Second Life (SL) Platform. The project will create an immersive environment on the three dimensional space in the Second Life digital metaverse, where a learning space on health information will be created for Hispanic residents. The main purpose of this SL space will be to target the most frequent diseases in their communities and include information on disease prevention.
