Student Engagement & Marketing Strategist, Region 3

E. Bailey Sterling MSIS is the Technology & Library Information Science Coordinator with the Network of the National Library of Medicine, Region 3. In her work, Bailey focuses on developing and disseminating digital resources to improve health information literacy primarily in vulnerable and historically excluded communities in the seven-state region of Arkansas, Kansas, Louisiana, Missouri, Nebraska, Oklahoma, and Texas. She is also charged with supporting student engagement with NNLM, DOCLINE regional support, and written/visual communications. Bailey is a '21-'22 Medical Library Association Research Training Institute Fellow, MLA Disaster Information Specialist, and Communications Chair of the MLA New Members Caucus. Her research interests include disaster information literacy and analog gaming.

Making the Most Out of Your Grant Application (Region 3) Applying for a grant can be stressful and intimidating at times. This webinar is designed to demystify the grant application process. From understanding the parts of the grant to completing the details of the budget, this webinar provides all the information needed to prepare clear goals, objectives, and a competitive project proposal. Participants will learn where to find available funding, important documents to include in the proposal, where to go for data to support the proposal, how the application is scored, and post-award reporting requirements.
